he Debating Street Renaming Corpus (DeStReC)

DeStReC is a corpus of Polish and German newspapers collected for the “Memory and ideology in the linguistic landscape: Commemorative (re)naming in East Germany and Poland 1916-2016 (MILL)” project financed by NCN and DFG. It consists of articles concerning the street renaming debates and announcements in the local newspapers between 1918-2018. The structure of the corpus is presented in Figure 1 below.
